John Derevlany has been an investigative reporter, professional ukulele player, and a crime-fighting chicken named Crackers.  He has also created, developed, or written for more than 70 TV shows -- many of which were actually good!  Here's a big, dumb list of almost every TV or film project he's worked on.

Recent shows he created or developed include Wayside (Nickelodeon/Teletoons), Gerald McBoing Boing (Cartoon Network/Teletoons), Animal Jam (Discovery Kids/Jim Henson), and Monster Buster Club (TF1/Jetix/YTV).  Monster Buster Club is currently the third-highest-rated kids show in France, and will premiere in the U.S. on Toon Disney in Fall 2008.  

Derevlany is also known for his role writing and performing  "Crackers the Corporate Crime Fighting Chicken" on Michael Moore's TV Nation (Fox, NBC), as well as being a co-founder of the seminal punk-rock ukulele band, Uke Til U Puke.  He is the co-author of several popular blogs as well.

He currently lives in Culver City, CA, with his family including Ava, Ian, and wife Kim (seen here on their wedding day outside a muffler shop in Van Nuys).
