


John Derevlany has been an investigative reporter, professional ukulele player, and a crime-fighting chicken named Crackers. He has also created, developed, or written for more than 100 TV shows -- many of which were actually good!
Series he created or developed include Wayside (Nickelodeon / Teletoon), Monster Buster Club (YTV / Disney XD / TF1), Gerald McBoing Boing (Cartoon Network / Teletoon), and Animal Jam (Discovery Kids / Jim Henson). He was Story Editor / Head Writer for Kick Buttowski on Disney XD, and has most recently been writing scripts for Johnny Test (Cartoon Network / Teletoon) and Wild Grinders (Nicktoons), as well as developing a top-secret, 2013 project for Lego.
An animator and game designer as well as a writer, Derevlany's animated short film, "Snot Bubble Boy," is currently screening at film festivals nationwide, while his real-world interactive game "CulverLand" was a critical hit during it's temporary installation in Fall 2010.
Derevlany is also known for his role writing and performing "Crackers the Corporate Crime Fighting Chicken" on Michael Moore's TV Nation (Fox, NBC), as well as being a co-founder of the seminal punk-rock ukulele band,Uke Til U Puke.
